Brother Ambroz
Ok so I've recently purchased and built a semi-decent size NL army but I'm not entirely sure the paint scheme to use. I've bought regal blue, chaos black, shining gold, blood red, chainmail silver, and a yellow but while painting my DP with regal blue it seems too light a blue for NL and too much like thousand sons so I combined chaos black and regal blue which turned out well but I was wondering if there was an easier way to do it then to combine colors. What colors do you all use and how do you use them? i.e. drybrush, wash etc. Thanks for the help once again! -TG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/213010-nl-painting/ Share on other sites
saintevil
I had the same problem with my NL. Currently, I'm using midnight blue as a base and highlight it with regal blue. On the trims, I paint it first with tin bits, overbrush with shining gold an highlight with burndished gold. Brother Nihm
Necron Abyss as base, then wash with Badab Black. Paint up the basecoat + highlights with Regal Blue up to a mix of Regal + Enchanted.
