We are Legion
Something confuses me about the Legion Centurion's Tip of the Claw rule p 178 sidebar "a centurion is a compulsory HQ choice in any Tyrant's Legion army of 1500 points or more, regardless of the force allocation chart being used for the mission" Emphasis mine Now, my interpretation of this is that even if you have Huron and a Legion Auxilia command unit as your two HQ choices in a standard mission chart, you still can and must have a centurion for a potential third HQ slot. However, I could also see this as "even if you have your compulsory HQ choice down as Huron or the Legion Auxilia, you MUST take a Legion centurion as your second in games of 1500 points or more" Anyone else's thoughts on this would be helpful. Octavulg
B, not A. The Centurion must be taken as your HQ choice - if you only have two slots, then one of them must be the Centurion. One slot, well, it's the Centurion. Equally, if you don't HAVE to take an HQ according to the Force Org chart, well, you still have to take a Centurion. We are Legion
Darn them for making me choose between Huron and a Legion Auxilia then!... It'll be Huron every time, but I'd like to let a Legion Auxilia command take the field sometime!
