Desert Hunters: need symbol suggestion

Gonna go with the Cross Potent, since is the catholic symbol for scouting and guiding.

Wait, we have a symbol for that? I mean, all praise to the great Emperor.

Yeah. That's a pretty neat badge. You could always stick a red sun behind it, too, if you wanted.

Indeed, I think something representative of the chapters biggest influence would be good. The cross, while a nice cross, is still just a cross.

I'll assume that the homeworld and it's desert are the largest cultural influence on the chapter.

where did u get the scout pic from if possible could u tell me, as for the chapter symbol maybe a small sun in top corner (your choice) a strip of sand how deep (your choice again) at bottom of pad just up from the pad strip then a perhaps a stick fgure holding a spear pointing down towards what ever creature(s) that are indigenous to the planet
I'm working on a DIY and have been having trouble with a design. One suggestion I would offer is to actually grab a shoulder pad and try to paint it if you like the idea. It'll give you an idea of how much work you're looking at to paint all those pads (plus drop pods, rhinos, etc).

That symbol is remarkably close to the one that was created for my Blazing Sons. I wish I'd found the picture you did because it would have made explaining what I wanted to the person who drew it much, much easier. ;)

As an aside, this isnt PC&A, this is the Liber. Ergo, was there any more fluff on your chapter that you were going to post?

What about combining two elements to make the symbol? I reckon stick with the sun to represent the desert, but maybe add either a bow or spear in somehow to show the hunter side of things??

I visualise a red sun in the centre with a simple spear icon coming diagonally down through it. But thats just my opinion.
