augustmanifesto
The topic description more or less gives it away -- is it currently possible to get any of the audiobooks in print? Are they likely to be released in print, ever? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/213105-hh-audio-books/ Share on other sites

Pacific81
The first two audio books, The Dark King and The Lightning Tower had a written format because they were not designed specifically as audio books (and were actually printed very early on, although it's very difficult to get hold of them now) However, subsequent audio books have been written as just that - an audio book, and so there haven't been transcripts released for them. You could argue it would take relatively little work to release an anthology of them at some point (or that they would feature in the new digital service BL has just got running), but whether they would do this is another matter. I personally have found the audio books to be very enjoyable, despite initial hesitations, but I know many people have bought them just because they think it's the only way to make sure they collect all of the HH material - the promise of a future release in print might damage the sales of the audio books in that case. ++EDIT++ Purge the Weak Presumable you aren't that bothered about being like a kid again if you take enjoyment in pushing miniatures around on the tabletop ;) Really, if you're not sure, I would recommend you try the audio books - they're handled in a mature manner and are novel and interesting way to enjoy the material. Purge The Weak
In response: I haven't collected models since I was 14 . The books where always far more interesting in my eyes. I will probably buy them though to make sure I dont miss out anything in the HH series. I just prefer books :/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/213105-hh-audio-books/#findComment-2535710 Share on other sites
