Blarmb
I don't have pictures but it's a pretty simple job. Remove the handle, and other superfluous details (depending on your exact model of PG) so you're basically left with the "Core" block of the plasma gun. That is the Plasma Coil the muzzle and the main body running directly under them. Glue two of these together side-by side, fill any unslightly gaps with GS. Remove the barrel of the Lascannon from one side of the TL lascannon turret. Place your double PG up against where the barrel was coming out, and again fill unsightly gaps with GS. WG Vrox
Also check ebay or craigslist, there is an old razorback model that has the las cannon with 2 plasma that you see surface once in a while. Barn
I made mine so it could be mounted further up the rhino chassis. It fits into the front hatch hole. http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/4198/imgp0486e.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/213118-lascannon-plasma-razorback-conversion-help/#findComment-2535765 Share on other sites
Requiem of the Wolf
I took the lascannon like normal. And underneath it I placed the barrels of two Plasma guns, side by side.for it being twin linked and all. WG Vrox
I just looked and couldn't find any, but they do show up. Your looking for the old razorback model and they are metal bits. Not sure the going price but I would plan to pay over 10.00 US if you can find them. But true you can convert them if you put the time into getting the bits and making the conversion. ORKILL
I took a different route for mine. I used both lascannons(one minus the barrel), cut a section of the heavy bolter mounting section to extend the barrels a bit, then used two plasma pistols. I have a ton of plasma pistols and didn't want to waste my plasma guns. I'll try to get pics when the sun comes up. Skalver
By far the easiest is to just use the Lascannon turret and mount a Plasma Gun as a hatch weapon. There is no reason they have to keep the old Lascannon / Plasmagun combi-turret look. In fact, that layout strikes me as kinda silly considering the old ruling whereby you could only fire the turret weapon as either a Lascannon or a Twin Linked Plasma Gun is gone and they are now two seperate weapons to all intents and purposes. If you use the Twin Linked Lascannon and do a plasma gun hatch you can swap the hatch to reconfigure depending on which you want to use. It is not quite WYSIWYG (in that you will have a model with a twin linked lascannon and a plasma gun) but it is clear enough that I doubt anyone will object to playing against it.
