skarekrow Posted October 14, 2010 Author Share Posted October 14, 2010 thanks mate, the red is pretty easy, its red gore shaded with washes of liche purple and regal blue followed by a wash of corched brown mixed with chaos black in the darkest recesses. this i then highlighted by cleaning it up with red gore, and then i followed that with red gore and blood red mixes up to pure blood red, then i did some quick highlights with fiery orange and blood red. this way there is depth and also a coldness to it aswell and not just warmth from all the red.
