kharn_the_betrayer
My wife and I started playing through this game back in April. I had bought it as a couples activity and sadly after about a half a week we both got stuck on mission 3. I thought of one really cheesy way to beat it which is saving and loading 1000 times until I complete the mission, but I don't want to do that. This is not a competition between us as we are working together to try to beat it. We have had a ton of fun playing each other in two player but we both want to get further and do the single player too. Anything to help? NExOBLIVISCARIS
man its been a while since ive played that on. your talking about the one for the psp/ds right?. if so remind me which one is mission 3 and what you have unlocked and I can probably tell you how to beat it. I've beaten the game and I will tell you now it gets alot harder. NExOBLIVISCARIS
give you guys snipers and plasmas for their secondary warning i use a slow but carefull play style and im not sure how different the game plays but use this as a rough out line. just remember to move up slowly, try to take cover before ending the turn, you cant go wrong with over watch, and just because a unit has ap's it doesnt mean he has to use them stay in a group. ok on turn 1 dont move your guys and just kill the marine and cultist directly in front of you. then set a marine with a plasma and scout with a sniper on over watch to the right side cause there will be a cultist and a enemy marine coming from the right turn 2; kill the 2 enemys aka the cultist and the marine that came from that side and end the turn with the rest of your guys on over watch turn 3;kill the cultist that comes even farther from the right with 2 or three plasma shots and a sniper shot if nesecary and then kill another cultist and marine in the same place you killed the cultist and marine on the first turn turn 4 ; nothing should really happen so move your guys up and keep enough ap for one shot in overwatch mode turn5; ok i lost a marine here but keep moving to the right and there should be some ruins that have 2 cultists and a marine in them kill the cultists and the marine if you have the ability but keep enough for a shot in over watch if you cant kill them for sure and down the middle there should be a marine in the open if you have a unit to kill him then go for it if not keep moving. there will be a cultist in the metalic looking ruinsto the left of the road in the middle same with the marine if you can kill him go for it if not dont bother keep moving. dont forget to press triangle to put you men into a crouch. cover is more valuble then a shot. turn 6 atempt to kill anyone that enters the ruins then set you men into crouch and end the turn turn 7kill anyone you didnt last round and move up into cover turn 8; same as turn 7 turn 9;guys will start to come fro the ammo dump and be warned chaos marines have plasma guns. i had a very close call on this turn turn 10; move up torwards the ammo dump and there will be around three chaos marines gaurding it (i only saw 2) and try really hard to kill them cause if you dont they will retaliate with plasma turn 11; a chaos cultist moves up use a scout with a sniper to take him out there is also one on the left try to take him out then end turn turn 12;kill the chaos marine on the left with snipers or a realy accurate plasma blast turn 13; the last guys should be at the very left they are a marine and a cultist move up to take them out and your done if this helped and you want any more help feel free to send me a pm for more Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/213193-warhammer-40000-squad-command/#findComment-2538986 Share on other sites

Unfortunatly due to issues with my ISP I haven't been online a whole lot as of late except over my phone. I will be testing this out over the next day or so and be able to give you some feed back as soon as I test it out (the joys of being an adult). Thank you so much for the help we both appreciate it. NExOBLIVISCARIS
You actualy have inspired me to bust my PSP back out and play the game...its actualy a better game then I remember but be forewarned it can (and will be) frustrating. some of the odds they pit you against is... have you played (and beaten) DOWII on primarch? just about like that...if you haven't played that, it gets rediculous. Orphus
Would be happy to do walkthroughs as I've torn the game to pieces ( completed it...lots) but I have a feeling life will get in the way of me doing anything :P (should be sleeping, brain needs rest, gotta be sharp). The last mission is ridiculously easy, and not one boss battle in the whole thing  might have time to put something up over the weekend, although there are probably more comprehensive and forgiving write-ups online ATM then something I could write. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/213193-warhammer-40000-squad-command/#findComment-2627712 Share on other sites
Codicier Lucion
Some advice ahead of time, when you get to the first mission with the Grey Knights; destroy the first wave of attackers and then break out from the position you're in. Head either north or south, it'll help stop you being surrounded. Also, some of the things the Obliterators say when being killed or shot at comes accross as comedy gold: "My god, give me strength!"
