Heimdall Skullcrusher
I played a game the other day where my opponent has 2 mystics and an Inquisitor. The question we didn't know is if a unit deep strikes within range and the mystics grant a friendly unit within 12" their free shot, how does that work with an embarked unit. Do both the unit and the transport get a free shot or just one or the other. I couldn't find anything that said one way or another. We were just curious how it is normally played out. Thanks. SeattleDV8
Units embarked are still a separate unit from the transport. BRB FAQ "Q. Must passengers fire at the same target that their vehicle is firing at? A. No, they are a separate unit (albeit they are temporarily co-existing with the vehicle) and so can fire at a different target." The Mystics only allow a single unit the chance to fire. Grey Mage
Yep, one OR the other, not both. Though most of the time I see it used with large battle tanks, like the Leman Russ Executioner, that have no fireports.
