Taz
Take your smallest, finest brush. The method I use is basecoat of DA Green. Then so some of the basecoat is showing, hit with Snot Green. After that, a gradually smaller line of 1:1 Snot Green and Skull White. Then Scorpion Green This is optional, but if you want/can put a reeeeeally thin line of Skull White in the middle of the Scorpion Green Thraka Green wash, this will blend your colors a little bit, and if you did the skull white step that will turn an nice bright shade of green too Finish it by adding a /small/ dot of white near the back of the lens, to give the impression of light reflection. I approach my lenses the same way I do gems, progressively smaller lines of progressively brighter colors. Also, since your surface area is small be sure to thin your paints. Glitch85
Thanks, I take it you do your lenses towards the end?? I was wondering if anyone does the eyes before they put the base coat of the helmet on. Taz
Yeah, I usually save details like lenses for towards the end after I get the armor where I like it. It's way easier to touch up the red on the helmet than it is to take the red off of a multi-layered lens.
