Chaos Marines and Daemons

Just wanting to show off some of my stuff, been getting better slowly, but have a few pieces that stand out.

New Daemon Prince:

Used a lot of 'Ardcoat, but was the first model I'd used it on. Looks good on the armor, more to come with shiny metallics!

World Eaters Land Raider:

Some cool forgeworld doors, and hard scored "lascannon" scars.

I'll post some more when I get better pictures, some I have are blurry and bad.....

Sorry for the light on the second one, trying to get the best lighting for it and kinda flubbed....

The first one shows the 'Ardcoat effect on the Juggernaut's armor

Bloothirster:

These are images before the touch-ups with the 'Ardcoat, but it just gives a sheen to the model, so you can guess what it looks like till I can get some good photos of him finished.

Also, he has the standard FW whip in this photo, but I recently converted him a second axe because the whip was far too fragile.

Probably breaking some rule here by posting a lot by myself...but I'm adding some more pics here, and it seems to have died.....someone asked about the 'Ardcoat technique and I never heard back about it...

Anywho....PICS!

TYPHUS!

First nice looking stuff you've got there. Second I love the battle damage on the raider HOW DID YOU DO IT?

Thanks. The land raider was a bit tough, lots of scouring with a triangular file, and a bit of drilling with a hobby knife, then just painting it like burns

I'm trying to get my hands on the professional pictures that were taken of my bloodthirster. It's been on display in the store I frequent, mainly so I don't break it bringing it home, and someone noticed it and wanted to take some photos. So i obliged and let him take a few shots, but now getting them is proving difficult....

When I get those I'll post them up ASAP.

Thanks for the comments and if you have any questions about the effects I used feel free to contact me, and thanks for the patience!

  • 1 month later...

I know this is probably not looked at any more, but to those of you who still check from time to time, thanks.

Quick update:

I got my new camera, and unfortunately it's about 2 months till I get home to snap some good shots, but this camera should get my models in great detail.

For you photography buffs who are wondering, its a Nikon D3100.
