Resin base WIP

I need some help from the gurus here:

This is my test base and I am kinda happy with it right now. I will be adding some snow effect later, but am concerned over the rune script on the stone. I was thinking a light wash would bring them out more. My other method would be to highlight the edges of the rune script with skull white to bring them out. I am kinda lost on this as this is my first resin base painting of what will end up being for my whole army.

Thanks for the help.

If you don't want to have to highlight the runes individually, what you could do is add some glazes of browns and greens to them (just the runes that is). That'd add some definition and weathering to them in a few easy steps. Obviuosly if you're gonna be covering them with snow late, it might be hidden but I think it could work quite nicely. The other thing you could try is googling 'gravestones' or 'tombstones' (or if there's one nearby you ould pop down to your local church) and looking at how the carvings in the older ones look if you haven't already, I think that could provide you with some ideas too ;)

Here is a badab black wash on just the stone area:

I think I am going to need to edge highlight the runes. They have depth with the ink wash, but not pop to actually see them to see the depth? Understood?

Thanks for the help. Thoughts on above?
