Corbulo
Hey guys, Quick question. When does the Sanguinor give his blessing? It says when your force is deployed, does that mean all of it or just what you have on the table at the beginning of turn one? For example. I put out a tact squad and hold everything else in reserve. Since the tact squad is the only thing deployed, does the sergeant get the bonus automatically or do I wait until everything I have in reserve comes out too and then choose randomly who gets it? Erasmus of Baal
Doesn't matter. It's out of the entire army. The timing is during deployment, to actually answer your question, but the rule states that it "choose one Sergeant in your army." It says nothing about deployment except that this is when the blessing is allocated. Otherwise, that would be an absolutely brutal tactic.
Corbulo
So the timing doesn't matter at all. Just roll and see who gets the blessing?
Erasmus of Baal
Correct. As long as your roll is during deployment, the timing doesn't matter at all.
Mezkh
In saying that, the smart thing to do is your compulsorys first, so I would do the Blessing ASAP :)
