splicer407
i figured i would try my hand at a simple conversion inspired by a similar one and a flame tutorial i saw online. So, now the pictures: http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/7136/img20101023005620.jpg ^ If you can't see that's a lascannon head from the chaos rhino sprue with some nifty GF9 gray stuff flames in its mouth. http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/3455/img20101023005653.jpg ^worse quality, but closer view http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/616/img20101023005701.jpg ^ and a view of the top to give you an idea of the spread. So, the next morning i primed and painted the flames: http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/9320/img20101023151805.jpg http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/2033/img20101023151817.jpg http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/184/img20101023151756.jpg i think it came out rather well if i do say so myself, but i'd rather hear what you think. splicer407
Thanks, i could use ideas for the rest of my grey stuff (so much comes in a pack that i can't figure out what to do with it xD) I'll bounce that idea around, but i really don't have a ton of time what with school and all. Replica
Great idea mate! One thing though, when painting flames you start with the lightest Colour on the inside (best to start with white, even if the flames are green) and shade outwards to black. The sculpt is great though, looking forward to more!
Myxx
I really like it. I like the bright green tips too, it makes it more warp-y and chaos-y. (Although at first glance, before the paint, it looked like a dragon eating a Buddha's Hand).
