I know this is a little unorthodox and Mods I would fully understand if you disprove but the Army List section of our forum is silent.... :P

 

Well.. I'll be going into a tournament here next week and sadly I missed the last due to real life concerns. So I know absolutely nothing about the players or armies I'll be facing. ;)

 

I'll be taking one of these two lists with me and would like advice on which one . These ones. So.. Help me out O' Community of Awesome?

I like your first list the best, but could you drop the storm bolters on the LRC's so you can buy a psychic hood on one of the back field =][='s.

Furthermore you are fully mechanised, that's a plus.

 

Taking the 2 LRC's will allow you to move up and distract attention from your other 2 troops. I'm curious where the 2 inquisitors will go?

Or will you split that up depending on your opponent?

 

Still, I like the 2 Ist squads better, I'd suggest 2 x 2 melta for both, as GK have a big issue cracking armour, and this is just the thing they can add. plasma is just a lot less good at opening tanks, and killing marines is what Stern and his mates are for. (or massed 2 x incinerator from the 2nd LRC with a follow up charge.)

 

Just don't open up any transports without your LRC with buddies nearby. Ists die so fast alone.. :lol:

(Oh and list nr2 I forcy just dying to fast against anything that can open an LRC, 2 tille units, ranged firepower, can opening ability etc etc.)

Dual raider in 1500 can work, but only against armies without melta... and those are not often seen :tu: )

The List with the IST's is better.

 

More troops choices = good.

 

Take the 2 Meltas though.
