[Obscura]

So, I bought Space Hulk back when it first came out. A friend gave me an extra set of the terminators ( and Stealers, but they're not applicable to the board ) and I had another box of Assault Terminators sitting around, so I combined them and did them in the fashion of Space Hulk.

The one of the left reminds me of the retro Blood Angel cover art from a long time ago.

Had to include the Chaplain model, the 40mm insert bases are still in the works. Just kinda fiddling around to see what works.

The Polystyrene sheeting is the same thickness as the Terminator Space Hulk bases. I'm really tempted to make one wielding a Powerfist/Cyclone Launcher/Storm Bolter combo and probably just count it as a Heavy Flamer or Assault Cannon in Space Hulk.

 

Now for the Space Wolves, kinda just doing them for fun, got the models for free. Have thirty of them now, so can do Loganwing lists, I'll post those pictures up in a few days. Still all WIP, plan to add more putty/sculpt additional detail. A simple attempt at bigger terminators, unfortunately most of the Prosculpt is hidden since it mostly blends in with the grey plastics, combined with a shaky camera, it makes things all sketchy like.

I like the double thunder hammerer...hammereer.....Hammerman. I traded my painting skillz to someone for space hulk I really like it, even though I kind of suck at it.

 

Can I make a suggestion on bigger termies? I don't know how but the waists need to be a bit wider at the joint, the look taller but they too thin at the middle like they are not a brick but an hourglass. It's hard because the wolf boyz pack has so many things going on around the belt buckle. So I would suggest adding bulk to the sides of thier? Really looking back it it thats really sort of impossible. So I I'll just say that it looks good, and I want to fight your LoganWing. :P

Captain Mick: The Chaos Warrior heads are fantastic for the feel that I'm aiming for, I've test fitted a few of the other options out there ( from secondary sculpting/casting companies ) and found that most of them don't fit perfectly without some serious shaving down and even then you still have to add additional details so the neck lines up within the torso of the terminators.

 

Kid: The double Hammer ( pants ) man was a spur of the moment inspiration, I'm fiddling around with rules in Space Hulk so I can use him. I love the game, it's simple yet complex at the same time and it comes with all the swearing hi jinx you normally get in 40k when the dice gods hate you.

 

Appreciate the suggestion, I've been working on that myself, on a test miniature ( for another terminator/power armor idea, you know what I'm talking about. . . ) I've figured out a way to get that squared away, but it's easier to show that work than explaining it. Unfortunately I've lent out the camera to a friend whose going crazy in San Diego with her friends, but that's a side tangent best left unexplored.

 

Since it's you, I'll just say they're all Female Terminators, you know, for the anger and laughs.

 

Would love to get a game in. I've got two variations though ( well the only ones ). On foot or Drop Pods.

WOAHHHHH, you got some awesome looking Termies there my friend, very impressive looking!!!!!!!! I love the poses & the helmets make them look really unique as well! Really like what you have done with them!
