The executioner of beasts, the Saint of Terra. Many titles have been bestowed upon him across his centuries of service to the Emperor, but to his kin of the Black Templars, he is only known as Brother Alexander. Time and time again my Emperor's Champion has slain Greater Daemons to Avatars of the xenos Eldar God. Chaos Lords have fallen to his blade, Powerful witches purged by his holy fire and even once a star god of the necrontyr was cast back down to the abyss. I saw it only fitting that I now truly reward the miracle worker of my Black Templars with a fitting apparel. bulley Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 I cant quite tell whats going on with the left arm, is it attached to the head of teh monster or is there a gap?, Otherwise it looks good, just need to clean up the GS around teh shoulders a bit I think. Also it seems to me that the jump pack is at a wired angle, probably just me on that one. Firepower Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 Was there no way to give him those wings without using the Jump Pack? I've never fiddled with them myself so I don't know how simple it would be. It's just that he can't technically use one (obviously) and with that big head already on the base, it makes the silhouette a bit beefy for a master duellist type character. It is a bit hard to tell what's going on in a few spots, like the edges of the wing on his right shoulder guard and the spot that was already pointed out. Im sure it'll be a lot clearer when painted though. I'd work on finding a better spot for the GD head or maybe a different head, just to keep things from being too cluttered. Very characterful and a nicely done cloak is always wicked, too. I love seeing how people never stop running out of ideas to convert that old model. Eberious Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 Sounds like one badass champ, sounds a bit to like a blood angels IC. <_< Model wise, I would lose the cape, jump-pack, the wing on the right shoulder and the shield on the left. Love the pose and the fact hes holding the deamon head, very fitting to your story. Looking forward to seeing it painted. Apart from that, same as above comments. I appreciate all the advice and opinions you guys have and will take them into consideration when I rework it.
