Olgerth Istaarn
Reading A Thousand Sons right now I came across the description of one of them commanding a team of Cataphractii - basically, robotic devastators. I found it pretty cool. After all, a Space Marine's strength is somewhat wasted hiding in the bushes and plinking away with heavy weapons when he could be up close and fighting. So I thought, could I model robots with heavy weapons to serve as my devastator squads? I could, if I only had some robotic parts. Where would one turn, besides necron range? What other mini ranges (not necessarily GW) supply good-looking robotic parts? Edit: thread title corrected. Don't drink and post, kids. This has been a public service announcement brought to you by the number 42. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214105-catapractii/ Share on other sites

After 2x Long Island Ice Tea, my keyboard skills suffer. Thanks for the Imperial Robots link, interesting glimpse into the past... Trust me, just leave it at the images and not the rules for robots! A degree in programming wouldn't have hurt! lol Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214105-catapractii/#findComment-2549757 Share on other sites
