Terminator empty hands

Are there any bits, preferably plastic, out there that depict a space marine in TDA with a "bare" hand?? No weapons, etc. Or possibly a tutorial on how to make one??

 

I am wanting two empty hands for the two Rune Priests that I am currently working on.

Why wouldn't they have armored gloves or gauntlets in TDA?

 

I suppose you could just cut off the TDA hands and do the same for PA or other suitable "bare" hands and just glue them in place. Marauders or Dwarf hands or whatever look you are going for.

marine terminator libarian comes with an open handd and a bolter and combi bolter if i rember corectly. but the had dosent look that different to normal hands. sanguards hads would likely do. devistator ones look stiff but might do depending on that you are looking for.but they are all leftys...

I looked through my Blood Angel bits for some empty hands, but none caught my fancy.

 

I am looking for empty hands, not hands sans gauntlets, just to clarify.

 

I'll start looking to fantasy models for further assistance.

I know the old bolter support arms are good for that sort of thing. Same with the Missile launcher offhands. the differance between marine hands and terminator hands is pretty small.

U could probably use grey knights cause they have their sb on the arm and u could just cut the hands off

The zombie sprue from vampire counts has lots of lefts, and rights to choice from, but the are alittle on the long finger'ed side. so you otta know.

Ja, the old Marines actually had bigger hands. If you can get hold of some of them, you'll be doing yourself a favour.

They are actually the same size [all but] as a Terminators hand.

 

eBay has dudes selling off old marines, maybe you'll get lucky....

I did a Chaos Terminator Lord with bare/empty hands long time ago. He sure looks weird I tell you. Really weird looking but since he is chaos, nobody minds due to mutations and all. But marines.. hmm.. Just saying so that you know that the outcome might not look as good as the idea.

the left hand from a missile launcher. i used a dremel to drill a whole down the palm, a lil wire+gs and u got lightning, also used it to pose a marine giving the fingre. hope this helps

The Old Grey Knight Terminator models have empty hands as well, and their weapon is seperate as well. The scale may be a little off, but you may be able to make it work if you can get a hold of those.
