Inquisitor_Lensoven
dread chasis are used over and over again, so they would most likely just be red with some gold accents that would only ever change as the dread gets repaired, however each marine gets a sarcophagus (which tend to out number chasis) a captain or SG or HG member might get a gold front on his sarcophagus (since you dont really see the rest once attached to a chasis) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214412-captain-dreadnought/page/2/#findComment-2554789 Share on other sites
shatter
Then it could be said that a chassis that's been loved by a particularly artistic blood angel individual, team or chapter, which is fluffy, could be augmented and gilded again and again as each illustrious pilot serves his time over the millennia... remember this is the chapter that sports gold artificer armour. I think anything that looks more like a roman catholic reliquary will look more blood angely... and reliquaries of significance are saturated with bling and gold... and that only took a few centuries to become a rule.
