Gman
I was wondering if anyone knows what paint on grey, will match with Army Painter "Uniform Grey" spray paint. I used the Uniform Grey to base coat my models, and I thought maybe GW Fortress Grey would match but it's off a bit. I'm looking for something that matches really close, for doing touchups after the model is painted up. I'm not stuck with using GW paints, it doesn't matter what company it's from, so long as it matches and I can find it easily enough. Thanks for any help. Taeken
I havnt found anything that matches 100% so for a few touch ups I've been spraying a bit into a cup adding a few drops of water and dipping my brush into that. Not exactly the best way, but its working. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214504-army-painter-color-matching/#findComment-2553721 Share on other sites
Gman
LOL now I don't feel so bad wondering if that would work. It was my backup plan if I couldn't find a color. Gman
Just to help any others using Army Painter Uniform Grey for their wolves...I tried GW's Codex Grey, and it matches perfectly. Once dried, I couldn't even tell where I had applied it. Though as we all know, you can buy 2 pots of the same name (IE Codex Grey) and they don't match. I have a pot of Codex that matches good with Army Painter Grey and it is now labeled as such. I bought an additional pot of Codex Grey for other uses. It's an extra $3.50 but worth it to me.
