heretic??ME??
Heh after racking my brains on how to incorprate DC into a non blood angel connected army I came across the passage with reference to Nurgles rot. "Many sufferers undertake death quests in order to be killed and avoid this fate." Realm of Chaos: The Lost and the Damned, 1990, p. 18 according to lexicanum I was thinking this would be a great alternative to DC still loyalist and potential for a great modelling oppotunity. Pick a loyalist army zombie heads and go and kill some Plague marines. Through in a couple of chaplains to escort the marines on their death quest. Tycho "count as" for the diseased captain leading his men on one last mission for the emperor!
Zeller
So aside from the fluff reasons how is this different from a typical DC army? Also through should be throw.
Judaz
I think it's a better idea than most of the other uses for the BA codex that people find. Go all DC with a count-as Astorath as HQ. They still have rage, even with the chaplain and Tycho can't join a squad, so Astorath, a chaplain, leading the damned marines on a final crusade would be good fluffwise. heretic??ME??
Rules wise DC, I just thought I'd through it out at you BA players. I just really like the fact this army can't really win, their dead either way. It kinda makes think of old westerns, when the old cowboy dying of some unknown illness goes out in blaze of glory.
