Mortarion
A recently finished Razorback for my Flesh tearers army. I quite happy with it except for the front part, which looks a bit empty. I should have added an aquilla, a scoll or something. But hopefully the top of the vehicle will keep people from looking at the front too much... ;) http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h233/Bulonicus/FT/razor01.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h233/Bulonicus/FT/razor02.jpg The razorback http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h233/Bulonicus/FT/razor03.jpg Detail of the heavy flamers http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h233/Bulonicus/FT/razor04.jpg Detail of the freehand on top of the vehicle. This is the part I'm most happy with.
Brother Nezulius
Wow very nice mate!!! Love the freehand work and the bullet holes on the side.
winterdyne
You need to weather that freehand in - a few scratches of the base red colour through it, and a dust covering will do wonders for it.
Captain Mick
Great painted razorback, well done ;) .
Gillyfish
Very nice indeed. The front is perfectly acceptable as is, although, if you really wanted to, you could probably add in a very simple and pleasant free-hand icon of some kind. I'd veer towards something white to balance the rest of the vehicle. What's your red recipe, by the way? I really like the deep colour and I'm looking to do something similar with a techmarine. MRCHAOS
Or you could add some spikes/ram at the front to make it a bit more interesting. But its still fine as is.
Mortarion
Thank you! @winterdyne: You are probably right. I'll think about that. @Gillyfish: It's the old version of Scab red. But since I have since long run out of the original colour I have to mix my own. And I wish I could tell you how I mix it, but I can't, since I don't really know myself. Every time I need to mix a new pot I just add Blood red, Chaos black and Liche purple to the new Scab red until I'm happy with the result. But it never looks exactly the same as the one I mixed the time before. Since my army is quite weathered and worn it's not a big problem. Battlefield conditions tend to affect colours a bit differently so variations in colour does not look that out of place. But I still wish I knew exactly how to get that colour. Firepower
Wicked, pure and simple. Well, as "pure" as crazy nutters like Flesh Tearers can get, anyway.

Myxx
The turret looks great! I didn't even look at the front until you mentioned it.
Dravenguild
I love it! But I just had a question, how exactly does the heavy flamer fire? I mean it can't touch the model but the rules say it must be measured from the mount.
Myxx
I know the template issue has come up, as far as I can remember, LOS is measured from the mount, but the template is placed to hit from the hull. If that makes sense...

Mortarion
Thanks! @army310: I'm not sure I understand what you mean. But if you're asking about the squad the razorback is for, it's just a new transport for an old squad.
Gitsplitta
Really nice job on the razorback. Love the extra painted on details. They make it stand apart from most of what you see out there, even amongst well painted armies.
