'Battle for the Abyss' describes how one massive planet killer ship of the Word Bearers is travelling to Ultramar but is pursued by an Ultramarine ship with a few allied members of different other Chapters on board (a few Space Wolves, World Eaters and Thousand Sons, helping the Ultramarines Captain in his ad hoc mission). Chengar Qordath Posted November 5, 2010 Share Posted November 5, 2010 Although, as I recall, the events in Battle For The Abyss did tie into the fighting on Calth, since blowing up Ultramar would obviously have made Calth go much more smoothly and prevent any surviving Ultramarines from falling back to their home base.
