IW Soul grinder/daemon prince

Hey,

 

Got a daemon prince not long ago, and instantly decided I didn't like it. It was wayyy too small in my opinion, to the point where it just didn't have the "feel" of a monstrous daemon beast from the warp.

Plus as a IW deamon prince says to me a machine-daemon combination with lots of mechanical parts.

 

So, here's my WIP on the matter. Because I'm cheap I've re-used as many parts from anything else I've got lying around. Main components so far are a soul grinder body & head, daemon prince sword, a bit of baneblade cannon left over from a earlier build (which I've still yet to finish) and shed loads of GS.

The arms are made entirely of green stuff and plasticard, with bits of girder and pipe embedded in them to give it that mechanical daemon machine look. The plasticard bits will be painted up as armor plating, I'm hoping to make a sort of scale-armor look to it, with the daemon's flesh warping and folding around it in a more fluid form than the GW daemon prince. It's also my first major piece of sculpting work xD

How is he going to move about? Are you going to use the Soul Grinder chassis and legs or fiddle up some different set of legs or tracks or summat?

 

I like the left cannon arm thing, by the way.
