maverike_prime
So I was playing Batman: Arkham Asylum, and I got to Bane. The instant he got all juiced up I was like "OH! That's my berzerker champion!" So in short I want to convert a berzerker, that's based on bane. You know with the tubes going into his skull, pumps the juice in and he goes more psycho. Thing is I'm not quit sure what to do. I mean I know how to do... well, it. I'm just not sure what 'it' is. http://furiousfanboys.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Bane_batmanarkhamasylum.jpg In this image Bane's venom is housed in the unit on his back. The system is massive and comes up over the level of his head. I know I want to do that. Not sure about what parts will work best though. http://www.giantrobotclub.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/bane.jpg Okay, stop laughing now. The Bane on the Movie Batman and Robin has the injector controls on his chest which just seems to be really cool when you think about it. I mean you've got this muscle bound psycho who slaps his chest and suddenly he's a 3 inches taller, put on 80 pounds in sheer muscle and is even more psycho. So I'm thinking about using a torso piece with something that would resemble that. The Chaos Marine torso with the X-straps perhaps. I ran across this post: Blood and Sand, and I really loved the way the True-scale berzerkers came out. I think that would work well for my berzerker champion, but now this leads me to the question of what to use. Suggestions? Terminatorinhell
Terminator legs and an ork torso? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214593-bane-after-going-to-chaos/#findComment-2554986 Share on other sites
Durus
Maybe Harker + Hurons Backpack(without the halo). The torso actually looks pretty nice without the HB, see here(Which funnily enough reminds me of this guy). If you just shave off a beltbuckle from any marine torso or jumppack chest and put it onto the chest painted a bit more colourful it should do the job I think. To build the torso with plastic I'd use some beastmen and an IG flamer backpack or one of those smaller ork fuel tanks if you have any of those around. Though I have to admit the first thing I thought about was the forgeworld ogryn. I don't know the pose you are looking for but some other over the top muscular torsos come with the necromunda goliath gang. You can usually get single necromunda models pretty cheap from certain internet auction sites, now that the bitsorder and support for specialist games (boosterpacks etc) are completely gone. Hemal
I'd say use an orc Warlord if you can, or else maybe an a Chaos Marauder? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214593-bane-after-going-to-chaos/#findComment-2557728 Share on other sites
