Chaplain Gunzhard
A funny thing happened in a game of mine. Blood Angels versus Blood Angels... At one point my opponent's Furioso charged (and ate) one of my squads. On the following turn I charged into it with my Furioso. There was a SP nearby so I had S7 for that turn but failed to scratch it... after that turn however we realized that neither dread could hurt the other and remained in a loving embrace for the rest of the game. They essentially became a terrain piece. The only useful application of this I suppose would be to tie up and prevent a dread, already in your backfield (via droppod or stormraven etc) from eating your stuff... hah. Has anyone else done this? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214750-furioso-with-talons-versus-furioso-with-talons/ Share on other sites
Kanis
Hahaha! Wow! That's insanely funny. I never thought two units could get into combat indefinitely, but there you have it! That's a pretty fun mental image of two Dreadnoughts lowered to verbal combat, haha! Brother Biskit
Now then now My sides have stopped spliting, all I can think of is the dreadnought Tango... I just have a surreal image in my head now of two dreads waltzing to Blue Danube. Disturbing! Wow 2 people in the world who have worse luck with dice rolls than me! Surely someone was able to glance the others armour?? if not then you should get an award for the 2 dreads doing the Macaraena!!lol Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214750-furioso-with-talons-versus-furioso-with-talons/#findComment-2557639 Share on other sites

Erasmus of Baal
Still like the idea of the Macaraena though...... or how about Riverdance?? I doubt Dreadnoughts can jump up and down fast enough to perform Riverdance...excellent mental image, though. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214750-furioso-with-talons-versus-furioso-with-talons/#findComment-2558014 Share on other sites

Dingareth
At Bolscon I played a guy with a Libby Furioso, he charged my Talon Furioso, on its way to knock me off my last objective. In my turn, I realized mine wasn't going to last long, so charged 3 Riflemen in to try and tie him up the rest of the game. It ended up working, and I got a Massacre out of it!
