Starting to think I have B.O or somethin. Feelin like the new kid in the cafeteria.... Comments help keep us painters goin. Sorry for the semi-poor image quality. Still cant seem to nail it. Paint comes across as thicker than it looks in person ...again. and Just noticed the Las barrel is kinds crooked :P Wanted to add a storm bolter but didn't think it would fit under the lascannon if it turns... Turrent fits in a whole made for it. I always loved the idea of the marine sitting behind the shield/HUD screen firing down field, and youre army badges are also very neat, nicely done! I like the old Rhino's design/appearence...but not its size. Though the new one isn't much better it always has bugged me that 10 marines are supposed to fit in there. Ah well, I suppose a lot of aspect of the game cant be realistic scale due to playability. Thank everyone for your replies. I love the termies too by the way :( snakebite leather base->brown ink wash-> shining gold -> shining gold+ mithril silver highlight. just bought burnished gold for SG to try something a bit different. Your weapons loadout got me thinking - an assault cannon and an autocannon - that you could mount the assault cannon in the center torso and an autocannon in each shoulder, and have a dreadnaught with no arms. I kinda feel the same way. I thought I was ordering the smaller ones like seen on my other rifleman that convert well to attach to typical dread weapon arms....but the bigger ones arrived. Its Smallmouth Bass fishing time around here and I have been very preoccupied. =D I know its heresy but I gotta say fishing is my first love...warhammer fills the time between casts. anyway here are the pics....and lots of them. Very, very nice work :) , I like the use of the DA robes on these guys. Love the assault marines too, especially the 4th pic. I'm not too sure about the purple wash/ undercoat on the white wings in the 5th pic though, just personal taste really. Really nice painting.
