Removable side sponsons on Raider

I've put together my standard Land Raider, painted it up, quite happy -- but I haven't glued down the 'cover' to the side sponson las cannons because I like keeping them removable for weapon destroyed results in a game. I could just keep the cover off, it doesn't look horrific, but I do like the look of it. The only solution I can come up with is maybe to use magnets, but I'm thinking maybe someone here has another idea :sick: I do think on my next raider I'll put magnets in the whole side sponson assembly for this case (again, unless someone has a better idea)

U could pin it and then not glue it that's what I did for my predator. Cause I have a couple of boys who did the magnets and they said the magnets keep coming out even though they drilled a whole them and glued em in.

The best way should be glueing pair of magnets on the hull and the putting a a square piece of metal on the sponson.

I've magnetized the big square sponson to the hull and the weapons to the vertical piece.

 

That way you can swap weapons and if necessary, remove the whole sponson.

just don't do what i did and glue the magnets with the wrong polarity facing... Its like theres a force field in the way when i try to put the sponsoon back on. Eldar trickery if you ask me!
