I made the two on the left from vehicle multi-meltas, half a hand flamer cannister and the top of a plasma pistol. The OEM combi-melta is on the right. Funny, even GW shows models of Sanguinary Priest as Apothecaries, but the fluff pics and thier equipment list shows them more like brother Cordubo. I have them modelled here with the Bolt pistol (not glued yet), chain sword, and Blood Chalice they are supposed to have according to the Codex:BA. I am confused though, are you making a Space Wolves army that "counts as" Blood Angels? Or are you making two separate forces, Wolves and Angels? If it is the former then I would suggest equipping the Sanguinary Priest with a large stein or drinking horn to represent the Blood Chalice. Just a thought but I find it strangely amusing and fitting for Space Wolves to be drinking ale on the battlefield. As a side, note I really like the Guard Missile Launcher on the marines'. I haven't seen anyone else do that yet and though it isn't a very creative conversion, it is rather simple and I would add that saying it takes about 5min is not an exageration, even considering mold line removal. Sorry, I should have explained - I am doing a series of conversions that can be used interchangeably between a Space wolves and Blood Angels armies. Now, I have to preface this, because I know someone is probably already thinking that I will be using Logan Grimnar as counts as The Sanguinor or vice versa - not the case. I am building very specific units for each list that would incorporate "generic troops" for the most part as filler. For instance, the first 3 dudes (2x plasma and combi-plasma) will find themselves in both list most likely, but the fist/combi-melta combo Wolf Guard will only be in the SW list. So basically, both list will have some of the same troops, but will also have a good number of dudes painted very specifically for thier appropriate list, like the Sanguinary priest. Thier colors overall, will be the dark/flat gray with red pauldrons that is simply my own vision of SW armor and suits the BA successor chapter Knights of Blood closely. Only the more generic troops - bolters, vehicles, and such - will be shared, so I won't be using a WolfGuard with fist/melta-combi as a BA sternguard. Nice work, as for the chaline I'm going to say... Meltabomb? Melta-bomb, yes. Not my original idea, but it is simple and easy/ to the point. I also like that it is more WYSIWYG than the Apothecary based Sanguinary priest - which I also use, but like the dudes with Chalices in thier hands. I'm thinking of doing a Tau force where every unit/ squad has its own terrain based camo pattern but uses a similar Armor pattern, too. Basically, each FireWarrior squad and thier Devilfish and drones would have the same camo.
