Grimtooth
So I own a BF bag and trays. They are awesome. The only problem I have is that when I ordered my foam the first time, I didn't account for the vast positioning of the SW arms as far as bolter/bolt pistol/CCW. I have made it work with some foam trimming and whatnot, but am looking at some new foam for my 432 as well as a new 720 for my expanded army. So, anyone have Battlefoam as their carrying case and what size cutouts are you using for your standard Grey Hunters? Mr. Danvers
I remodeled all my GHs to have boltguns when the new book came out, so I use this tray for mine: http://battlefoam.com/catalog.php?item=99&...3Fcategory%3D59 It allows me to have each squad lined out, with the PF and MoTW options next to them. I've got two of these trays and easily fit all my stuff into them. I've only got a 1520, but the top part that zips off is the equivalent of a 432 and I can carry my army in a rhino tray, 1 of the 2 inch terminator/assault marine/bike trays and one of these ones. MaveriK
I've had the same issues Brother Ramses; especially with various wolf packs because my army is pretty out there with the conversions and kit-bashed minis. The solution to my problem was just using the terminator slots in the foam. Works fine, extra space. Haven't had problems ever since. LPetersson
I have a similar problem with my terminators :-o Oh, and the foam trays themselves don't fit in GW cases... I had hoped id'd be able to shoehorn them in... S. Bloodhowl
Whilst its not battlefoam you may want to look at this: http://www.giftsforgeeks.org.uk/p/product/...rd%2520Loadout/ I use it and find it amazing! -Its the same price as the small GW case but where that can hold 108 infantry models this can hold 180, -The foam is slightly thinner between spaces so even your most wildly posed Grey Hunter will probably fit in easily, -It comes with 5 trays in similar layout to GW one bar the above detail (of which 4 can fit into a GW carry case), -It also has a Tank tray like the GW one of old -If you take a tray out of the bag you have space to fit all your pics, dice etc * -Its got a durable but flexable fabric casing which is a lot better than the GW plastic case -The spaces are even big enough to fit all but the most wildly posed terminators in without need to cut it, -Did I mention its amazing? * I manage to get into it the tank tray, 1 of the trays it comes with, 3 GW tray (they were already hacked up for the armies), 1500pts Space Wolves + codex and rulebook, 1500pts of Ogres (forgive me =][= just an example to show its size) + Army Book and the Big Fantasy Rule Book (!), a notepad of army lists, 3 dice tins, a tape measure and some Erretas with room to spare!!! Grimtooth
I am pretty locked in with Battlefoam. When I visit my girl on the weekends and am gaming up there, I am about 20mins from their HQ. Easy for me to order and just pick up. wolfpack
hmmm...as I've never been one to lay my models into a tray...and prefer them standing in place it's just a matter of which size cut out I want in a two inch foam tray...Models standing may jiggle a bit but then again I'm not putting the weight of there fellows on top of them but rather on the foam itself...I have found that the 1.5 inch squares work pretty well...but have had to use the larger 2 inch for some of my troops...the termi cut outs work well just as they are.
