Meatman
A quick one guys. I may have missed this in the rule book, but with an open topped transport such as the land speeder storm, can you move flat out 24", emergency disembark, taking the dangerous terrain test from the disembark, and still assault? SeattleDV8
No, BRB pg. 70 Tell us you may not embark or disembark from a transport that is going to or has moved flat out. Emergency disembarking can only be used if you are blocked by impassable terrain or enemy troops, and you still can not preform any other actions that turn if you do so. Lord of Death
would the unit die if the transport is killed after moving flat out then if they can not get out Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214989-emergency-disembark-and-assault/#findComment-2565132 Share on other sites
thade
would the unit die if the transport is killed after moving flat out then if they can not get out See the new FAQ. Q: If a transport vehicle is destroyed in the same turn as it moved flat out what happens to any embarked models?A: They are removed as casualties. So...yes, if it's the same turn. No, otherwise. Frosty the Pyro
Emergency disembarking alllow you to ignore the rules about having to disembark within 2 inches of an access point (changing it instead to within 2 inches of the hull), it does not allow you to disembark at times when disemarking is not allowed (sucha when moving flat out) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/214989-emergency-disembark-and-assault/#findComment-2565145 Share on other sites
