Nacho Wolf
Damn these look good, a few problems though, and these are fluff wise rather than painting. 1) I dont think they had storm shields back then. 2) If that is Russ, he should have a bigger sword, it looks more like a dagger, but that may just be the picture

That dagger is probably close to your size and maybe just under half of Russ' height so it might be on the small side of swords but that is still a real sword. Inquisitor Kravin
You stole my dream and made it real! :P Awesome. I've been worrying that my own wolves were going to be too dark but you've demonstrated perfectly that with the right trim colours and some subtle highlights it works perfectly. Please could you tell me what you used for the snow? I'm currently torn between splashing out on Woodland Scenics snow and going the baking soda route. Pig Of Sparta
The dark grey looks good on these guys, but for me that red trim is the best part. It really sets the mini's apart from any other PH wolves that I've seen, it's so deep and smooth. Any chance of a recipe? The combination of armour mk's works really well too. I look forward to seeing more of this army as it develops. James
LunaWolf07
I really like the color scheme you chose and the paint jobs are awesome! :)
army310
the grey was done by painting codex grey and giving it a wash of badab black, with high lights of codex grey and small(very small) of skull white at the highest points. the red was by paiting scab red then giving it a wash of badab black, with high lights scab red and blood red at the highest points. thanks for all the replys. Dave the Twisted
I know it sounds like a silly question but would these be the Khorne-themed Wolves of the Dornian Heresy? I was just wondering since I'd seen Wolves with red shoulder pads before, and these models could work very well as either loyalist or Khorne Wolves. Stunning job.
