The grey is just codex grey with black added to it, and the yellow is a mix of snakebite brown and sunburst yellow. Hope that helps Regarding the armour types im not certain if I have few too many in this squad, what do people think? I still have some touch ups and ant to do a little wear and tear on them http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/003-1.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/004-2.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/005-2.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/006-3.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/007-3.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/008-5.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2561940 Share on other sites

The_Minsk
Thanks guys, I used the scout heavy bolter because originally death watch squads used to be able to have one that wast assault 3 I think rather than heavy 3, I thought for a tactical squad it made sense using a lighter looking model since they will be moving around more Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2562352 Share on other sites
Natanael
Great work so far. I, as well as most ppl here, love the HB-conversion. The_Minsk
Thanks for the comments guys, all very kind, what do people think about the yellow stripes on the boltguns,(not certain you can really see them in the photos) im not certain about them, they look ok on the never pattern bolters, but the older ones im not so sure Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2562840 Share on other sites
Crazy Eight
The yellow on the bolt guns looks good it ties it all in . you sir have encouraged / convinced me to buy the mark V heresy armour to build my kill team with the phobos pattern bolters i shouldn't as i cant afford it but they look so sweet i just got to have some its only a 10 man unit Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2562857 Share on other sites
The_Minsk
The forgeworld heresy armour is possibly my favorite, very detailed, all the bolgun variants are very good too Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2563707 Share on other sites

The_Minsk
Ok everyone I need some advice, I cant decide which head to use on my captain, what do you all think? first up we have stoic looking face, maybe a bit bland, I quite like it though http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/006-4.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/002-3.jpg second we have a raven guard seargent head, quite scarred, though to me it looks a little sad, possibly my least favorite http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/007-4.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/008-6.jpg and lastly we have captain korvydae's head, this is a great head loads of detail, though it might be a bit large, as captain korvydae is massive compared to a normal space marine http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/009-2.jpg http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg16/The_Minsk/010-4.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2563883 Share on other sites
Power Hungry Monkey
Definatly use Korvydae' head. Really adds so much more feeling to an already dinamic miniature Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2563932 Share on other sites
Natanael
Yeah, I'd go for the last head as well. Really gets him into that screaming-charge feel. - Natanael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2563940 Share on other sites
Hyaenidae
I'll third that. Korvydae' s head is perfect. Just shave the bottom of the neck to bring the head closer to the armour. Lord Tharand
I'll also vote Korvydae's head. It has a lot of character which I think will make the captain model really pop. I must say that I really enjoy your mix of armour marks for the squad. It really breaks them up and makes the squad look more natural. Argyle
Going with Korvydae as well, and in fact I think I'll have to order that model to make use of it myself. Would be the perfect fit for my Marshal. Also agree with the above, just knock a mil or two off the bottom of the neck and it'll be a perfect fit. Chapter Master Ignis Domus
Definitely Korvydae, just chop off some neck. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2564070 Share on other sites
Crazy Eight
Korvydae the other heads just dont look right and the metal head is to small . If youre doing a bare head are you going to have his helmet attached to his thigh or on the ground damaged Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215020-red-scorpions/#findComment-2564312 Share on other sites
