Following the forgeworld masterclass book I varnished the model in order to do some of the weathering, but you are ment to do it after, also used enamel varnish. What do you think so far, too much damage? not enough? The_Minsk Posted May 15, 2011 Author Share Posted May 15, 2011 So i have started putting some paint to the honour guard, the pictures I took are terrible(horrid grey day today) but at least you get the idea. Im really not keen on the banner it needs a re-think (might go with a black background) what do you guys think? really need some insperation for it. Im also thinking of repainting the helmets white, with a warm gold stripe. I think maybe whats putting you off is because the whole model is very tonally similar, the Gold helmets don't really draw the eye, because they're pretty similar to the yellow.
