LardO'Blood
If my tactical squad loses an assault at -5 (so Ld 4 with sergeant), can it take it's morale check at Ld 10 if my DA company master is on the board? Or is his leadership also effected and I can take it at Ld 5? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215047-rites-of-battle/ Share on other sites
thade
Rites of Battle allows the unit to use his Ld instead of their own. So their Ld isn't 8 (or 9 if the serg is present)...it's 10. In your case, it's 10 - 5 = 5 for your morale check. So in answer to your question, the company master's Ld is not affected, but the squad's is...so it doesn't allow you to circumvent the morale penalty. Grey Mage
Yep, Rites of Battle sets their base LD at 10, and combat modifiers work from there. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215047-rites-of-battle/#findComment-2561514 Share on other sites
