Dark Apostle

Hello!

 

I present to you my WIP Word Bearer dark apostle that I've been working on over the last night and day. Initially I was planning on making Marduk from the Word Bearer novels but I've settled on a regular Dark Apostle for a number of reasons relating to the armaments of my host not matching the armaments of the host in the novels. Just a few inspirational images so far. The chaplain from the 3.5 chaos codex, the dark apostle image from the lexicanum, and another player's WIP Dark Apostle that he also made based off the 3.5 apostle.

So, just a few basic shots so far.

Things to do:

1. Reduce the size of the big plastic rock on the base so it is closer to a 25mm in size.

2. Bits and bobs such as incense burners and a chained book if I can find one.

3. Chains with skulls hanging from them.

4. Possibly greenstuff some flames atop the ball vents on the powerplant.

5. Fill in the gaps in the helmet and touch up the tubing.

6. Wrap thread around the crozius.

 

He's been fun to build so far and thankyou for looking. B)
