OwlandMoonGuy
Hail brothers: Just starting to make some headway on updating a few squads here & there. Here's a couple of completed DC models based on the theme reflected in the new plastics. Nothing too fancy - just some Legion of the Damned bits here & there for dramatic effect. Comments always welcome. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/OwlandMoonGuy/Angels%20Sanguine/03-PowerSword-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/OwlandMoonGuy/Angels%20Sanguine/05-FeelingNoPain.jpg Feeling no pain... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/OwlandMoonGuy/Angels%20Sanguine/04-PowerSword-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/OwlandMoonGuy/Angels%20Sanguine/00-PowerFist-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/OwlandMoonGuy/Angels%20Sanguine/01-PowerFist-2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v699/OwlandMoonGuy/Angels%20Sanguine/02-PowerFist-3.jpg Comments always welcome. Ebsolom
I like these a lot! They look suitably battle hardened and kudos for weathering the power armour. Looking forward to seeing the whole squad complete.
Redo
I think the first guy is awesome. Love the head wound and the blood looks well done. On the other hand I somehow find the red cross on the second guy a little too bright and I am not a fan of the red powerfist fingers. Yet apart from that I think this guy is also well painted and I look forward to seeing some more of your DC. Especially some of that wound work. Baal Dropout
The first guy definitely made his FnP roll ^_^ They're great man! :)
shatter
I like the first guy a lot, so much in fact, I think his hood ornament is completely unnecessary. I too feel the red on the second contrasts too much with the rest of him. A little too crimson maybe.

vahouth
I have been watching your work silently over the shadows for too long I think. But those DC are amazing! I especially like the fact that you made the blood splatter visible on a black model!!!
bulley
They look great. Love the addtions to them, look really special/unique, and paint job is really great on them, doing the grey dry brush just makes them look a bit more rugged than crisp, which suits them superbly. They do get awfully dirty the DC for people who only fight in 1 battle lol! I'd love to see at tank to go with these boys.
gabrionus1
love the mud on the boots! All my marines look like they just polished their armor, mostly because I am too afraid to add dirt and/or damage effects and screw it up! Great job!
