Bitz box diving

So I got bored working on home work this morning and started tinkering with some bits and pieces. I didn't actually have a plan for anything, I was really just kind sticking parts together with blue tac and seeing what I came up with. Well, I think I hit a couple winners and wanted to get some feed back on the end result of my idol bitzing.

As you can see I came up with a series of 2 Marines with Auto cannons and one other with a Heavy/Flamer. I know I know, CSMs don't get Heavy flamers but who cares? I'll count it as a regular flammer. Or petition for Havocs to get access to Heavy flamers in the next codex. One or the other. But yeah. I think the Chaos Terminators Heavy flamer is too... whats a good word... too stubby, too short. But yeah, I cut off the nozzles, drilled out holes to add 2 lengths of tubing and added one of the gargoyle/dragon heads from the Chaos Vehicle sprue. I did a Custodes terminator conversion a few months back and rather liked the "Dragon Lance flamer" design so I decided to incorporate it into other models.

using a pair of reaper guns off a scrapped defiler, I converted a pair of heavy bolters in to autocannons, or something that resemble them anyway. I figure I'll invest in a 4-cannon havoc squad down the line. regardless, here are the semi-auto cannons conversions.

I swear I'm gonna get back to my homework some time today... I really mean it. But not right now.

So I was tinkering around with an extra flamer and I managed to convert it into a Combi-flamer with out cutting a bolter. All it took was the flamer, and a belt feed clip. What do you think?

A couple years ago I got the parts to a Daemon prince from a friend for like 5 bucks or something. It was back when I was like "Bitz? Sure I'll take 'em". I've had him more or less sitting on my desk waiting for me to finish building it. Well, Now I'm waiting on wings for it. But I think this warrents a lookie-look.

What do you think:

The Punch blades are actually 2 of Abaddon's sword.

I like the autocannons but think the barrels are just a little high. I think they should be a little more inline with the ammo ejection port. You could cut the back end of the barrel off a little bit and the support rod could be attached to the underside of the gun. Also if you keep the same heads for both Autocannoners you could cut the horns off one and swap sides to add a little variety.

hehe, maybe this is a sign I need to put the modeling glue away for today. When I first read your response, my thought was "What does the marine holding the gun having been smoking have to with the barrels?"
