well, i've been collecting marines since the 80s. but really haven't played much. since i've been to a couple gamesdays and adepticon in the last year. i thought i might get into it again. so i'm going to do a mantis warrior army using my old rt minis and the forgeworld mk sets. here are some figs i'm using.

thanks for the comments. i like the old guys. some of the guys i talk to weren't even born yet when i bought these guys. the paint scheme is pretty simple, i prime the fig white, then i airbrush some knarloc green on. then i hand brush the shading with catachan green and charadon granite, which i also use for the chips. i use a wash of camo green here and there to brighten certain areas. the highlights are bleached bone, white mixed in the gnarloc. i would like to find more metal marines someday. i still have about twenty more, four rt land raiders, original dread, and some old bikes. i guess i'll use the newer terms because the old ones are really silly looking.

I have one of the old terminators, the power fist is ok at best, but the storm bolter looks like some lego pieces bashed together.

nice work on the paint job and, and it is nice to see old minis back on the table.
