DapperDave
I wasn't happy with the "I'm a little tea-pot" GW posing of Ragnar: http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1240644_99060101063_SWRagnarmain_445x319.jpg I wanted something that was a little closer to the artwork on the Space Wolves Omnibus: http://plasticspaceguys.com/uploads/Space-Wolf-Omnibus-1-08.jpg So I went and did my own. Did I hit the target? http://plasticspaceguys.com/uploads/Ragnar_WIP_front.jpg http://plasticspaceguys.com/uploads/Ragnar_WIP_back.jpg This is the most greenstuff I've tried... the shoulder pad isn't as clean as I'd like it to be... but I'm hoping I can neaten it up a bit with the pain job. Token
It looks good. Are the legs custom made, or whatever it is called.. Modified? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215257-ragnar-conversion/#findComment-2564576 Share on other sites

DapperDave
It looks good. Are the legs custom made, or whatever it is called.. Modified? The legs are just from the space wolves pack box, though the right leg was rotated and the left foot cut and bent at the toes to give more of a running pose. GooseDaMoose
This guy looks awesome! The pose is good and it's really detailed which I always think is important for characters. Can we see some pictures from the sides aswell? And was the mega-chainsword made with two stuck on top of each other? Natanael
Looking good. I like the pose, altough he seems a little like he is about to fall forward. Good job with the pad tough, and the large sword :P - Natanael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215257-ragnar-conversion/#findComment-2564710 Share on other sites
tiny sam
I second the proposition of the side view. my only comment would be that the hair don't go with the motion of the model, it should be flying back instead of lying on the side Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215257-ragnar-conversion/#findComment-2564726 Share on other sites
DapperDave
Here's the sides: http://plasticspaceguys.com/uploads/Ragnar_WIP_left2.jpg http://plasticspaceguys.com/uploads/Ragnar_WIP_right.jpg The frostblade is slightly out of alignment at the seam - something I'll have to fix before I paint it. Also, as far as the hair... I see what you're saying, but realistically, there's not much room for it to go elsewhere without just chopping it off and starting over with greenstuff (which I was kind of tired of after the shoulder pad). Slyfox1990
Personally think he might look better with the gun pointing upwards and forwards. At the moment he looks like hes running but his arms are quite lazy.
