Been trying to capture some pictures of my progress with my Flesh Tearers.

A first post here but I have more postings done on my blog (which is not only 40k-related)

Blogpost: Death Company and a Rhino chassis

Been busy with other things like my Flames of War army and fixing things at the house, but I had a gmae of 40K the other week and now the Tearers are screaming for some attention.

Picked up the brush and continued on my Librarian yesterday (Bad lighting, rebuilding my hobby room at the moment so no proper light):

Red Rain, I thought he would do for now. Not a big fan of the BA-Captains so he will serve me better as a Libby :D

Some more paint on my Libby, just the basing needed now.

"libby" is nicley painted...just dons't look at all like one

you deffinatly need to make it more librarian like...

a few runes here and there...maybe a book...

Just something to make him look like a librarian

I agree, my plan was to use some guitar string and some book for him to "librarize" him a bit more. But since I wanna get into more playing (and I'm not a fan of playing with unpainted minis) I ended up just painting him. I'm gonna buy a box of Sanguinary Guard to make some HQ-guys, so there will be a new librarian from them.

My Sanguinary Guard are getting closer to the finish line. I have fixed up all the feather parts, blood drops and engine exhausts. I have the weapons, both swords and guns, parchments and cloth, heads, wings and bases left now. Maybe some minor details too, they will probably show up in a photo when I have varnished them.

I got the colors for the engine exhaust here: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...t&p=2504715

Those Sang Guard are looking tasty! And suitabley gritty for the Flesh Tearers

Thanks! I didn't want them to shiny and at the same time something to counter all the red/black in the rest of the army.

Yesterday I had some time on my own and with rain outside it meant I was not able to paint the house but could sit inside and fix some other stuff, like magnetizing my Baals (link) and making some smoke markers (link).

Vanguard Veterans and jumpy assaulters on the way.

Made from DC-, Space Wolf- and Assault Marine bits. I think the pelts, bones, teeth and so on adds to the FT-feel but they will need some GS to remove the high level of wolfyness in some places though. Should be a minor problem, I hope.
