Loki-LaughingDeath
Okay the new kid in town Phoenix Fire Games started up an escalation league and I came out of retirement after 7 years to get in on the action. Problem is that there is a new codex... and troops and sagas and and and and and So I decided that I was gonna repaint my wolves in the old pre-heresy scheme and go with something interesting. How interesting you ask? Try a 13 man 500 point starter that consists of the Stormcaller a squad of Hunters and a squad of Claws...with some toys for them The next bump is up to 800 points, plus an additional 20 points per loss...don't ask, I don't know, but I am stuck with a dilemma... There is the option to include Wolf Guard to bolster the numbers and stick em all in Rhinos so it would look like Njal, 3 Wolf Guard with vairious sundry instruments of D&D (death and destruction) 7 Hunters in a Rhino 2 Squads of Claws in Rhinos......... or do I go Quality Njal escorted by Grey Hunters in a Rhino with Power Weapon, Melta Gun and Plasma Pistol AAANNND Bolvevk the Rash Wolf Guard Battle Leader in Runic Armor with Twin Lightning Claws a Wolf Tooth Necklace and the Saga of the Warrior Born escorting Blood Claws in a Rhino with Power Weapon and Flamer Yes I am including claws so please don't suggest leaving them out they have to learn how to be Grey Hunters sooner or later..... Grey Mage
Im voting for option 2- Im not a huge fan of WGPLs, though if your running an IC in your rhino... might as well. But I still wouldnt do it until you have 3 squads to assign them to.
