Tangamarine
Here's a converted plastic thunderfire cannon I finally got round to finishing today. This is what gamesworkshop gets when they make a hard to put together, metal box set costing $100.20NZD http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab3/darrylwhg/DSCN3723.jpg http://i844.photobucket.com/albums/ab3/darrylwhg/DSCN3724.jpg Comments welcome Thanks Brother Dvorn Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215448-plastic-thunderfire-cannon/ Share on other sites
Natanael
I like it a lot. Looks a little like some kind of AA-gun to me :tu: The techmarine is awesome as well! - Natanael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215448-plastic-thunderfire-cannon/#findComment-2567171 Share on other sites
Firepower
Cool. I concur on the difficulty and price issues with the real McCoy. Can we get a How-To or parts list on that sucker? Maybe the Techmarine, too? Though one bit of nitpicking: it seems a bit shallow in the body, especially compared to the barrels. Kinda gives the impression the thing is a muzzle loader. Probably too late to fix though :tu: Oh well. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215448-plastic-thunderfire-cannon/#findComment-2567175 Share on other sites

Warsmith Aznable
Good stuff! Where did the tracks on the Thunderfire Cannon come from? Is that Rhino tracks cut up and GSed to make that? Janitor101
Good stuff! Where did the tracks on the Thunderfire Cannon come from? Is that Rhino tracks cut up and GSed to make that? They're IG Tank treads, Leman Russ by the looks of them. The thunderfire could use a little beefing up in my opinion, looks a little small right now, but the Techmarine is awesome. Tangamarine
I will put up a parts list in a couple of days as I got exams to study for, as I finished this during "study" leave. I'll take some pics from other angles, and label the parts soon. How would you fix it? The tracks are from a chimera I once had. How would you "beef" it up? Its currently undercoated black and whatever the orange foundation paint is called. By the way, its going to be painted orange. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215448-plastic-thunderfire-cannon/#findComment-2567589 Share on other sites
