Questions about running an escalation campaign.

Ok, so starting in Jan, we're gonna do a paint-n-play 400pt combat patrol campaign.

I'm really wanting to do it escalation style. The only issue is - I'm trying to figure out - which point levels to jump to? from 400 do we go 500, 1000, 1500? Or straight from 400 to 1000, then 1500? Or anything else?

The time frame isn't really an issue...and the games we play will just be fun campaign/map games just to put painted armies on the table to play - I will work on about 3-5 scenarios per round. I just need to kno which point levels to escalate with?

Suggestions?

I'm sorry if there's not much info - lemme kno if ya need more and I'll fill in as best I can.

We're starting with 400 Combat Team rules from 4th ed. But I'm gonna come up with 3-5 scenarios to play thruout the 'round'

My question was the next round and subsequent rounds. Take it to 500, 1000, 1500....or straight to 1000, then 1500?

750, 1000, 1500, 2000

Agreed. Once you hit 1000 pts, the jump of 500 pts per month comes very easy (because that's when you break out big elite/heavy choices, and you are talkin one to two units max, easy to paint up). Take it slow at first so people get used to the armies they are playing, then kick it into full swing!
