Dhx711
Some of you know I'm new-ish to both the game and hobby in general. Not being very artistic in nature, I'll struggled as both a modeler and painter. My problem mainly stems from having a good "mental" picture of what I want to accomplish and getting very frustrated when my results don't match my ideas. The frustration leads to not wanting to paint at all. Since I love the game and dont have the $ to comission work out (for mass units, I've had few HQ's painted by a friend) I've finally found a style that is "good enough" for my expections and wanted to start showing some things mainly to get advice/suggestions for improvement. The pics are all from a cell phone camera as I dont have a digital camera. Below is my WIP HG Banner. Since I couldn't free hand anything i did some digging in my bits box and here's what I came up with. http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n309/Dhx711/40k%20BA/BAHGBanner.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215657-dhx711s-ba-hg-banner/ Share on other sites
Captain Mick
Try making the ''wings'' on the banner white and the sword at those wings metal colour, the chest eagle on the model white to and giving all the gold a wash of devlan mud and i think it will look much better :cuss .
