Redfinger
Just like the title says, I have a couple of extra, you guys think they would make a decent "count as" for heavy flamers? I can get dzens of these real cheap, so if they would work I am going to run with them. Thoughts? Inquisitor_Lensoven
i don't see why they wouldn't, but where/how would you mount them? the cannons are almost the same size as the vehicle. Ebsolom
Maybe if you cut down the barrel with just the muzzle protruding from the turret mount might look ok. I'm off to rummage through my bits to see how it looks. Erasmus of Baal
Like Ebsolom said, cut it down. I think shorten the barrel section and remove whichever of the two pilot lighters would be on top and you're in business. The rest you would only have to cut to make it fit. Brother Nathan
just be careful it dosent look too much like a baal pred with inferno cannon, or look better than the baal preds inferno cannon if you happen to also use one in your list... Aeterni
I separated mine at the barrel, and pinned it ontop like how the Flamestorm on the Baal looks like. By splitting the barrel, it does look distinctly different I find from the Flamestorm itself and thus recognizable as a "modified Heavy Flamer" *mind you, you don't have much space, and rounding out each barrel afterwards is crucial to making this look ok. Dingareth
I just used a cut down one from a Baal kit, it's on the right of the picture: http://lh6.ggpht.com/_8uuNU51tIyk/TFQs_NtJxKI/AAAAAAAADt0/7ib6YXZC_H4/s800/IMG_1001.JPG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215669-lrr-flamestorm-cannons/#findComment-2570555 Share on other sites

It looks a little too bulky for my taste but I think it is incredibly clever .
