Space Wolves: let us finish this sentence...

The propaganda has spread amongst our kin and those outside our mighty chapter, as our arch enemies the Thousand Son's were ill informed, when their one eyed Primarch spoke in such riddles saying, "there are no wolves on Fenris." I think it's time we finish the sentence for them. IMO I think it was just Magnus's way of trying to look smarter in front of his subordinates! LOL its the least we can do after the burning of Prospero! here is my answer, "there are no wolves on Fenris.. only real men, warriors who love to drink and fight for the people of mankind."

I'm curious to see what my wolf brothers has to say or add onto the sentence. There are no wolves on Fenris.... (your answer)

"there are no wolves on Fenris.. only real men"

Yup you said it. I agree with you 100% :tu:

I look forward to the Skald Abnett giving a hint that this is so. But of course he'll never spell it out in B&W and so the people who don't want it to be true will say prove it with RAW :D

in my humbling opinion, this sentence will be explained in prospero burns... a book that should have been pubblished befor 1k sons... ( with also the explanation of what helix canis realy is, and why sw did not have any succesor chapter)

Btw there are now wolves on fenris... and Achilles will never catch the turtle!

I was just thinking these very words.. lol

"there are no wolves on Fenris.. They're all on Prospero burning it to the ground!"

But it sounded more like ...

"there are no wolves on Fenris..they are away on "business"..er .... burning Prospero to the ground!"

What he means is that there are no normal wolves on fenris, they have been genetically modified or adapted to their enviroment so much that they are no longer really wolves. Just like how space mariens are no longer human the wolves are no longer wolves, which is why space wolves can do something stupid like ride on them. I liked the book, but it magnus and the thousand sons seem even more powerful than all the other space marines. Like how the single legion held off the space wolves, guard units, silent sisters, and the custodes until thier powers killed them.

There are no wolves on fenris, we scared them off with loud drinking.

to be honest the reason they held them off was because of their powers. it halted the bombardment. after the bombardment they only took a few sisters of silence. meaning most were still using their powers fighting the wolves.

but of course, when the wolves did realise they got there act together, and tore the place down.

and if you guys are gonna say if the TS had these powers that coulld hold of the wolves, why didn't they conquer the galaxy themselves. it's because they were all too busy reading books/history of every stupid planet they invaded! wasting time (imo)

Athiair :D

its funny, I was just looking through Black Library site and read the info about Prospero Burns.

About the book: The Emperor is enraged. Primarch Magnus the Red of the Thousand Sons Legion has made a terrible mistake that endangers the very safety of Terra. With no other choice, the Emperor charges Leman Russ, Primarch of the Space Wolves, with the apprehension of his brother from the Thousand Sons home world of Prospero. This planet of sorcerers will not be easy to overcome, but Russ and his Space Wolves are not easily deterred. With wrath in his heart, Russ is determined to bring Magnus to justice and bring about the fall of Prospero.

Truth be told... Leman Russ was just going to apprehend Magnus, until Horus told Leman about the rumor of Magnus spreading amongst his legion that "there are no wolves on Fenris" of course this enraged Russ, as his honor felt insulted.. it was one of the major things that motivated the Wolf King to bring Ragnarok on Prospero, and so came to pass what we know today as "The burning of Prospero." ^_^

There are no wolves on Fenris... only wolves.

There are no wolves on Fenris... they can all fly.

There are no wolves on Fenris... there just aren't any.

There are no wolves on Fenris... there are only puppies.

There are no wolves on Fenris... only Canis lupus.

There are no wolves on Fenris... only Thunderwolf Cav.
