Arbite Judge

Recommended Posts

Recently I was commissioned to paint an Arbite Judge for a client at the local GW. So here is the finished model.

First of all: Awesome model, really well done. Captures the concept very well.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of his tilted head. He looks, I don't know, a little uncertain or something. I'd expect an Arbite judge to look straight ahead as he strides to pass just around.

No your not getting it! he look like Horatio Caine examinating a crime scene :)

Kinda strikes me as a pondering expression, examining someone whose head was just caved in with that whooping stick. Sort of a "Ha! She fell funny," moment like Jack Nicholson in The Departed :P.

Awesome paintjob. Have to admit I'm kinda amazed to know someone actually pursues an Arbites army, especially enough to pay for a commission (not that your work isn't worth good money, mind you).

I don't know, it kind of gave me the feel of...

The judge was walking across the battlefield, the dead and the dieing sacttered everywhere. Once more, the loyal Imperial Guard were victorious.

He stopped as he heard a moan from a dieing cultist by his feet. The man looked up at him, and shuddered.

The Arbites tilted his head to look at the fallen man. "Fool," he said, reaching for his shotgun hanging at his side, "You chose the wrong side."

The cultist did not suffer for very long.

It's for =][=, so it'd (probably) be a one-off mini, especially as it's twice as big as a 40k infantryman. And that is one beautiful model, always nice to see the stuff you're doing MCA

Thanks for all the comments guys. Jesus is correct it is a one off. I may have a few other Inquisitor scale stuff thrown my way but currently on my commission bench is the Khorne army for the Store Manager. But that is me painting model by model when I get time to sit in the store and work on it.

Keep the comments coming! :P

I should have more stuff posted shortly after this holiday weekend.
