Terminatorinhell
Multiple coats of incredibly thin painrs. For red I do scorched brown base, then scab red then red gore 1 part paint, 10 water Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215891-painting-clean/#findComment-2573283 Share on other sites
WingsOfTheFalcon
My advice is to just be really careful, good brush control and not overloading your brush are the key to 'cleaner' looking models. ant7
Are you priming white or black because red goes over white much easier than black. If that is what you are talking about, is the red looking streaky on the model? Red Fury
Prime white. Base coat red, I use bloody red and thin it a bit with water. wash with ogryn flesh wash. clean up large panels and surfaces with blood red again. do some edge highlights. Do some extreme highlights. Wash with baal red wash, keep it kinda thin and keep it from pooling or puddling up to keep it looking clean. done. http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/ll275/RedFury77/40k/P1040828-1.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/215891-painting-clean/#findComment-2573865 Share on other sites
