Please find attached Deathguard for comment.

This will part of my CSM army - I have never played a game, I love the hobby/fluff/Podcasts but hope when my army is painted I might try a game.

It’s more of a rusted army rather than a slime incrusted affair. I need to do a few high-lights and finish the skulls & horns/Spikes, I am mustering up the courage to add lighting effects to the eyes & plasma weapons.

I will post an army list soon - it will be based on the Deathguard/Khorne/Hakanors Reavers. It will be fluffy and have some minor conversion/magnet work.

Progress will be slow as I do not get much hobby time as I have a family who take up most of it.

Thanks for the feedback,Captain Mick.

Below are a few possessed i have been working on, inspired by the cover of 'The Fist Heretic' & a White Dwarf article I saw a few months ago.

It’s funny how I have gone from only liking Space Marines to slowly being seduced by the dark side.

Just an update, I have been having a go at the old green stuff, I wanted to create a molten lava effect on the CSM instead of painting it on.

I started by taking a set of SM legs & removing the purity seals etc with a craft knife.

Then I tried covering the whole leg with green stuff & sculpting the lava effect but being a newbie to green stuff I found it easier to roll out a sheet about 2mm and cut out pieces and push them on individually.

I know it looks like 'The Thing' but this is a WIP/Prototype.

I would appreciate any advice on ways of improving what I have done.
